Free and Plus plans

What the Free plan covers, what the Plus plan adds, and what happens to your data when an org changes plan.

Salesforce admin About 3 minutes Since release 1

Sojourn installs on the Free plan. The Plus plan adds tracking for any object, live minutes on the record, Backfill, the archive and purge, Omni-Channel agent work, and Sojourn Dashboards. We switch an org to Plus from our License Management Org: nothing is reinstalled and no setting changes, and the switch reaches your org within a few minutes. To move an org to Plus, choose Upgrade to Plus on any Plus notice in Sojourn Settings, which opens CloudAlgo billing.

What each plan includes#

Capability Free Plus
Tracking Case, Lead, and Opportunity, with their status, owner, and other fields Yes Yes
Tracking any other object, custom or standard, through the capture Flow template No Yes
Goals, breach flags, and business hours Yes Yes
The record timeline, the 19 reports and 4 dashboards in Sojourn Yes Yes
Pause, Catch up, and the nightly Reconcile and Summaries jobs Yes Yes
Live values: minutes in the current status and with the current owner, written on the record No Yes
Backfill with History or Seed No Yes
Purge after a number of days, and the archive No Yes
Omni-Channel agent work and the Agent Handle Time report, with the Sojourn Omni-Channel package No Yes
The Health Monitor, and settings export and import Yes Yes
Sojourn Dashboards: your own dashboards, layout editor, zoom, and black and white print No Yes

On the Free plan, the Live values job still runs: it keeps minutes to date and breach flags current on open Intervals of Case, Lead, and Opportunity. Backfill offers Fresh, which starts each record with its next change.

In Sojourn Settings#

Plus features stay visible on the Free plan, with their controls off and a note that they are in the Plus plan, with an Upgrade to Plus link. So do the settings that belong to them: the purge part size under Retention and purge, the History backfill chunk on an object's Advanced tab, and the Omni-Channel statuses on the Advanced screen. The Add object dialog lists every object you could track and marks the ones that need Plus.

When an org moves from Plus to Free#

Nothing is deleted.

  • Intervals, summaries, and archived Intervals stay, and reports and the timeline keep showing them.
  • Objects other than Case, Lead, and Opportunity keep their configuration and their Intervals, but new changes on them are not recorded. The Tracked objects list marks each one "Plus plan: new changes are not recorded", the Health Monitor lists it as information, and Catch up waits until the org is on Plus again, keeping the pause window.
  • The live minute fields stop changing. Breach flags keep updating.
  • A Backfill or purge that is running stops at its next chunk. Purge stops deleting. The Retention screen shows your earlier choice, turned off, with the Plus notice.
  • Omni-Channel agent work is not recorded.

Moving back to Plus resumes all of it with no setup. Changes made while the org was on Free are not replayed.

Updated in release 1 This page changes in the same pull request as the feature it describes.
