Sojourn Dashboard

The Sojourn Dashboard object stores one manager's dashboard: its Name, the charts with their positions and sizes in Layout, versioned by Layout Version, and the saved Filters. Each record is private to its owner and is never shared. Commonly used for personal views of where the time went.

Filters Filters__c LongTextArea (4000) The filters every chart on the dashboard follows, as JSON: {"objectApi": a Tracked object, "field": a Tracked field's API name, "period": 7, 30, or 90 days, "hours": "business" or "calendar", "ownerId": a user Id, left out for all owners}. Blank or unreadable: the page uses the first Tracked object and field, 30 days, business hours, and all owners. Written by Sojourn Dashboards each time the dashboard is saved, after checking the object and field exist; read when it opens, keeping only the choices the page still offers.

Layout Version Layout_Version__c Number (3, 0) The format version of the Layout JSON, a whole number; 1 today. Written as the current version each time Sojourn Dashboards saves the dashboard, so a later Sojourn release can tell which format a saved layout uses and still read it. Blank only on a dashboard never saved by Sojourn Dashboards.
Help text: Set by Sojourn when the dashboard is saved. Leave it as it is.
Layout Layout__c LongTextArea (131072) The dashboard's charts as JSON: {"version": 1, "charts": [{"id", "type" (stat, bars, trend, share, heat, or table), "x", "y", "w", "h" on the 12-column grid, "title", "measure", "groupBy" (value or owner), "view" (chart or table)}]}, at most 20 charts. Written by Sojourn Dashboards when the dashboard is saved, refused if charts overlap or break a chart type's size limits. Read when it opens: unknown keys and chart types are dropped and sizes clamped, so a saved layout always loads. Blank: an empty dashboard.
